Two duos performing music of a different kind are to be found: on the one hand, Kristallroll, two drummers united in a hypnotic sonic ascension. On the other, TDTNDG, an attack duo based on the invention of a unique trumpet amplification device turned into a mixing desk.
It slams, it taps, it shaggers, it bzzzz, it crrrrrkk, it sizzles, it goes in all directions and it even beats sometimes…. LOUD!
Kristallroll
Kristallroll is a percussive stereophony for the listener, an attempt to dilate and elevate acoustic materials and harmonics, in the stretching of time, the repetition of a gesture, the imbrication of impacts, the sedimentation of rhythms, a symmetrical and hypnotic ascent around two drums reduced to the basics, somewhere between minimalism and free form.
