Why Patterns?
With Music For, the repetitive music group WHY PATTERNS? pays explicit tribute to two major female composers in the history of electronic music. Suzanne Ciani and Laurie Spiegel are two of the most important figures in American musical research in the 70s and 80s. This is an original composition freely inspired by their work.
The instrumental music of WHY PATTERNS? blends augmented saxophones, synthesizers and sequencers in long, cold, yet luminous electronic tracks.
