Juan Carlos Arrechea is a percussionist, composer, teacher and producer with many years’ experience on stage, with a long history of recordings and tours around the world, featuring with groups such as: Salsangroove, La Mambanegra, Pixvae, Mauro Castillo, Leonor González Mina, Pernett, Cununao, among others. He has also collaborated with groups such as Femi Kuti, Chocquibtown, Monsieur Periné, Nidia Góngora, Aime Nuviola and Santiago Cruz. After all the experience he had gained, he decided to launch projects under his own name, playing his own compositions created for different musical formations.
