Flashpig

Born from a common will to play an open, uncompromising music, which would not turn its back on a certain jazz tradition, Flash Pig is a quartet created in 2008 which finds its inspiration as much in the work and writing of the free scene of the 70s (Keith Jarrett, Ornette Coleman, Paul Motian), as in the sound and spirit of some contemporary musicians. Awarded numerous prizes, the quartet has so far recorded three albums under its own name and plays a repertoire of personal compositions, which allow the four musicians to offer an open, uncomplexed and constantly evolving jazz.
