Florent Nisse 5tet

Professionally, Florent Nisse started his double bass career in Lyon, where he took part in numerous projects that allowed him to perform in most of the venues and festivals in the Rhône-Alpes region. Settled in Paris since 2008, he is now part of the rising generation of jazz in France, and performs very regularly in concert alongside emerging artists (David Enhco, Flash Pig, Emile Parisien, Yaron Herman, Sylvain Rifflet) and alongside more renowned artists (Michel Portal, Seamus Blake, Didier Lockwood, Joachim Kühn Logan Richardson, Gilad Hekselman, Aaron Goldberg).
In 2014 Florent Nisse will release “Aux Mages”, his first record as a leader, with a group including Chris Cheek, Jakob Bro, Maxime Sanchez and Gautier Garrigue.
