Eric Dolphy had the opportunity to record a work without finishing it in February 1962. Indeed, Dolphy’s hasty death left “Out to Lunch”, an opus made in one afternoon, unfinished and unperformed live.
This is how ARFI (Association à la Recherche d’un Folklore Imaginaire) resurrects this classic and allows what has never been done: to play this work and enrich it with equally innovative amenities to do justice to their author, with manner if you please.
