Anna Luis

After obtaining the Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures from the CMSMD of Lyon in 2006, Annabelle joined the Concert Spirituel (Hervé Niquet) with whom she continues to play regularly. She also plays with Le Concert d’Astrée (Emmanuelle Haïm).

But her main activity is chamber music. With the ensemble Amarillis and the talented violinist David Plantier and Les Plaisirs du Parnasse.

The different programs allow her to explore several worlds: from baroque to contemporary music with Gérard Pesson, through jazz with Louis Sclavis.

In 2019, she will release a duo CD with David Plantier, “Continuo, Addio!”, where the cello competes with the violin in virtuosity in the first duets written for this formation.
She teaches baroque cello at the CRR of Lyon since 2019.
