Caïman

Outside at night, just above the level of the marshes, in the tipping point between the murky waters and the pure forest air. It’s by standing on the edge of the world that CAÏMAN finds his way.

In French, entangled in the thick chorus of his electric guitar, his words gently weave liberated, mystical incantations. But if you take the time to let yourself be drawn in, you’ll discover that beneath the mystery lies a very personal, modest and sincere exposure ~ and an obvious obsession with tales of metamorphosis, insurrection, magic and ghosts.

Two years after the release of their album “A la lueur”, CAÏMAN’s new trio effort invokes the ethereal indie folk of Elena Tonra (Daughter, Ex:Re) and the magnetic post-rock of Emma Ruth Rundle.
