David Bressat “Quintet”
Jazz constellation

Pianist, composer and arranger, David Bressat has been present for more than 15 years on the jazz scene in France and abroad. He has played alongside renowned musicians such as Marcus Strickland, Dave Liebman, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Christian Escoudé, Nelson Vera… After having worked for a long time in trio and recorded in the aseptic acoustics of the studios, David Bressat has created a more organic and real project in quintet! “Alive” is a sincere music to be discovered at its source. The quintet plays and interacts with the audience, offering the listener the intimacy of a sound that develops in front of them. You can feel the breath of the brass instruments, guess the improvisations that are taking shape, jumping at the whim of a raging rhythm, between strengths and weaknesses, suns and shadows, at the heart of the artistic journey…”. An album full of optimism and shared warmth. “Les Inrocks” A small moment of grace… a warm and clear album. Jazz Magazine
