Flora Yin-Wong

Flora Yin-Wong is a London-based sound artist and DJ whose work is based on field-recording and the use of ancient traditional instruments combined with electronic processes. The mythical, sacred curves of her music, with its slight club music influences, are a delight to the ear and the body. Flora, who has appeared on labels such as PAN, Modern Love and Danse Noire, has developed a versatile range of facets, capable of integrating different sounds and using a variety of expressive media. She has performed at venues such as Berlin Atonal and Unsound, and more recently on the acousmonium at Ina GRM with an electro-acoustic piece composed for the occasion.
Alongside her production work, she has a residency on Lyl Radio with her Minor Deity programme, and since the start of the year has been developing her publishing company, Doyenne Books.
