Gourmet is one of the most exciting bands on the Scandinavian scene. Their music is a jubilant and explosive mix of jazz, tango, blues, rock, noise and trad. Somewhere between Charles Mingus, Spike Jones and Ennio Morricone, Gourmet is a joyful dynamite. “The afternoon had already given us a wonderful opportunity to rejoice with the return of the sextet Gourmet, a Finnish band invented twenty years ago by alto saxophonist Mikko Innanen and guitarist Esa Onttonen.
