Grand Gamin

Lyon, France

A globe-trotting musician, Grand Gamin celebrates irreverence, wonder and mischief, sad joy and happy melancholy.

After a string of collaborations (Slow Joe, Thomas Fersen, Buridane, Obi Bora…), Cédric de la Chapelle is returning to his first love: writing and singing. On his own.

And it’s with great fanfare that he celebrates this solitary reunion: strengthened by his encounters, he creates refined pop songs with rich and varied influences.
Words and their meanings are at the heart of his work. In French, always simple. Like a big, lonely kid, sometimes amazed, sometimes disillusioned, he takes a questioning, loving, offbeat look at the world.

Alone on stage, armed with a guitar, a synthesiser and a virtual choir, Grand Gamin faces himself as well as the audience.
