Jérôme Noetinger

Jérôme Noetinger (1966) composes musique concrète in the studio and improvises on stage and at home with an electroacoustic set-up that includes Revox B77 tape recorders, a mixing desk, analogue synthesizers, loudspeakers, microphones and electronics, as required… He plays solo and with groups (Cellule d’Intervention Metamkine, Le Un, Hrundi Bakshi, Les Sirènes, etc.), and collaborates regularly with others (Sophie Agnel, Angelica Castello, Lionel Fernandez, Anthony Laguerre, Lionel Marchetti, Anthony Pateras, Anne-Laure Pigache, Aude Romary, etc.).

He runs Metamkine, a mail-order catalogue specialising in electroacoustic and improvised music, from its creation in 1987 until April 2018. Member of the editorial board of the quarterly magazine Revue & Corrigée from 1989 to 2014. Member of the team at 102 rue d’Alembert in Grenoble from 1989 to 1998: film and music programming.
