La Mentoure

The repertoire that interests Elsa Lambey and Florent Briqué comes from written and sound archives kept at the Maison du patrimoine oral de Bourgogne (Anost, 71). This musical background evokes a way of life that has changed considerably, but which constitutes a singularly rich collective heritage. As well as bringing this music to the public, they want to bring it face to face with the influences that run through it: chanson, traditional music, improvised music, jazz… and bring it to life, to the rhythms of today.
