Marion Cousin & Kaumwald

The Kaumwald duo (Ernest Bergez and Clément Vercelletto) adorn the songs chosen by Marion Cousin with an organic electricity that flows between the letters, insinuates itself into the syllables and lifts the damaged groove of these ritornellos that seem to have never stopped repeating themselves. The trio that is born here offers eight tracks arranged in an old barn where almost closed electrical circuits have been deployed which, in addition to absorbing and transforming the vocals for a strange yet obvious result, have also set the rhythms, harmonies and textures of this successful attempt to transmit these texts and melodies borrowed from the common memory, that of the humanities, often rural, which like to tell stories and thus offer a broader spectrum to our existences.
