Orchestre 2035

France

Machine with a single action, repeated automatically, operating by successive deviations from the starting pitch.
Locomotive on the rails (of the piece) deviated by successive switches, ‘points’ in the jargon; non-automatic points, to be manoeuvred manually at the risk of runaway or even collision, depending on whether the direct or deviated track is chosen.
Brownian motion: moving straight ahead until it collides, between the 15 atoms, compound machine: made up of several others, several self-semi-manoeuvring atom-machines;
Orchestra: atoms subjected to their knocking in the fluid surrounding the piece, which knock against the resonant container of the piece, making the knocking heard.
