And Also The Trees + Nairod Yarg

In partnership with Le Bazar

45 years into their career, 14 studio albums and still carrying their independence on their shoulders, AND ALSO THE TREES are delivering increasingly free and inspired albums. Free, because they are free of all references to the coldwave and gothic rock they helped forge alongside the Cures in the early eighties. Inspired, because it’s the sole driving force behind AND ALSO THE TREES, a band that has preserved its independence to respond only to the injunction of its muses.

With a strange and unpronounceable name for some, NAIROD YARG refers to the famous Irish Dandy Oscar Wilde and the cinema of David Lynch to present its cold wave tinged with Punk and Noisy Rock. 3 years after their 1st album, at the end of 2022, the Caladois duo returns with a new opus entitled “10 days with Dorian Wilde”. Comprising 10 tracks, it follows the romantic days of an imaginary character through his love affairs, his wanderings and his mystical delusions. The music is more melodious, but doesn’t lose its cold, noisy edge.
