d’incise

d’incise, part of the experimental music scene in Geneva and Europe, presents Incendies (jointly released on the Insub and La République Des Granges labels). It plunges us, with fascination, into a sonic space filled with analog signals enriched by saturations for a result with an aural appeal as hypnotic as it is captivating, just as one looks at a fire, its beauty and its destructive force, without being able to look away. The result is wonderfully and delicately subjugating, the sounds unfolding and stretching themselves with slowness, richness and precision in space, irradiating the loudspeakers in a surreptitiously magnetizing and gripping way. Or as a kind of soundtrack for meditating on one’s own carbon footprint.
