Donna Candy are set to shake things up at Le Périscope. Arguably one of the freshest and boldest bands on the French rock scene today, the bass-vocals-drums trio from Marseilles draw on the sub-genres of experimental rock and push right to the front of heavy music. Tone-shifting fuzz vocals and big, splashy drums overlay disturbing narratives and extreme loops to bring a bit of the pit to the dance floor.
Lyon’s Chloé Éclipse, with her dystopian post-punk, will take you across a wasteland devoid of life, but will remind you that music is lived in the present moment, at the very moment you are facing it.
