FACS + MIDLIFE
In partnership with Bigoût Records
Chicago-based FACS was formed in 2017 by Brian Case, Noah Leger and Jonathan van Herik, following the dissolution of their previous band Disappears. Inspired by austere rhythms, space and minimal arrangements, the band has recorded five albums of dreamy, dubby art rock through the prism of 21stᵉ century Chicago. Named after the Factory Records catalogue numbering system, with a nod to today’s facial action coding systems, FACS marry the energy and ideas that immediately followed the disintegration of punk with the uncertainty and tension of the modern world.

It’s the noisy Thirty Glorious Years, between the 90s and the 20s. It’s probably still too loud, yes…
