FOUDRE! + Odalie

NAHAL Recordings and Compagnie Odalie: two entities that create electronic music, jewels in the crown. They present a double release party on Friday 25 April 2025 at Le Périscope!

FOUDRE! was formed in 2015, and until then had been meeting up for rare vibratory banquets. With their first studio album, Voltæ (Chthulucene), they’ve undergone a delightful metamorphosis – an emancipating blend of English rave, punk urgency and electronica, with strange, overblown echoes of post-techno folk music. Intense, corporeal, epic, FOUDRE! breaks free as a telepathic hybrid orchestra, made up of analogue synthesizers and modular systems organically connected to acoustic instruments (baglama, blowers, percussion, vocals), forming a dancing neural network in the heart of the night.

Odalie is organic, textured electronic music that knows no genre boundaries: somewhere between electronica, modern classical and techno. Cello and modular synthesiser blend through textures and arpeggios: a musical landscape between the immense and the intimate, a live show full of contrasts that depicts the violence and gentleness of emotions. In 2023 Odalie released her first album on Mesh, Max Cooper’s label, and opened for him twice at the Barbican in London, then played last year at Les Nuits sonores in Lyon. In April, she will be releasing a new EP, ‘Optimistic Nihilism’, once again on Max Cooper’s label, and her live show will be accompanied by a video and lighting design by the stage.
