L’Ensemble Cairn rencontre Totem Contemporain

Totem Contemporain is a Montreal-based ensemble that has been playing only new works on innovative and extraordinary instruments created by Jean-François Laporte, the group’s artistic director.
As for the Ensemble Cairn, it has been roaming the territories of creation for more than twenty years, never refusing any artistic collaboration, opening itself to jazz, circus, visual arts, dance, literature, video, etc.

Four daring composers have been invited to offer completely new works for this event: Frenchman Samuel Sighicelli, Canadian Émilie Girard-Charest, Englishman Michael Edwards and Sweden Jesper Nordin.
