On the heels of their first metal evening with Dawn during Nuits Sonores 2024, Lyon-based label Bamboo Shows returns to Le Périscope for a new concert session.
On the program: old friends again, with Belzebuth GX, the new project from the infernal Jacques Satre and Eiger Drums Propaganda, a mix of vaporous dub, mystical downtempo, psychedelic rock and weirdo punk. But also, a new acquaintance via Lia Vial who – with her beautiful voice, synth and drum machine – delivers solemn minimal music, a good quilt both soft and enveloping.
Opening the evening, the discs will spin under the careful hands of Salma Rosa and yours truly, Erevan DJ, in the tradition of “Sick Sad World” and “Herbe à Chat”, their respective residencies on LYL Radio.
All in all, it will also be an opportunity to celebrate the recent Bamboo Shows release of Live Excerpts, Eiger Drums Propaganda’s latest album, and Lia Vial’s forthcoming album.
