Mb quatre presents his first album, and we’ll be celebrating its release at Le Périscope on 27 September. That’s the exact date of its release, and it’s an opportunity to come and discover it live!
The evening will have a special flavour for the quartet and the two guests on their debut album Allumette: Lou Rivaille on vocals and Hadrien Santos Da Silva on drums and percussion.
Somewhere between jazz and folk chamber music, Mb Quatre offer an innovative and atypical repertoire! Thibault Galloy, Hugo Afettouche, Sylvain Félix and Gregory Sallet are four poly-saxophonists who will transport you into a world that is both energetic and poetic. Their original compositions, inspired by Balkan music crossed with jazz, French chanson and waltz, allow you to rediscover the original saxophone quartet. Soprano, alto, tenor and baritone tend to become one in a perfect playground where rhythm takes pride of place.
