Pneu + Chien Bernard

Is it still necessary to present Pneu? Two young men with above-average intelligence, playing their sticks and plectrums as if it were their last, producing music that looks complex but is incredibly enjoyable!
Between a few hundred stage performances [in France, the UK, Germany, Italy, Holland & Eastern Europe…] that got everyone on their feet – including support acts such as No Means No, Envy, Lightning Bolt, Oxbow, Converge, Kylesa… – and the release of their various LPs, Pneu have outshone a good number of bands labelled post-math-noise-bidule rock. The reason is simple: Pneu condense the essential: groove and energy. Full stop.

Chien Bernard play noisy, brutal, bouncy rock, fuelled by the energy of punk, with daredevil rhythms and startlingly stupid samples. After two years under a sanitary bell, the band, then a 2-guitar/drum trio, released their first album, Félindra, in March 2022. At the beginning of 2024, Myriam, bassist for Monsieur Thibault and Manic Maya among others, joined the band with her bass, her voice and her Footix T-shirt.
