Ramdam Fatal + LFant
We’re back with Ramdam Fatal for a new show in 2025! The seven ‘Ploucs Célestes’ of this carnivalesque orchestra blur our reference points, stubbornly recycling snippets of Auvergne bourrées and Occitan refrains inside a hellish musical machine made up of demonic patterns, incendiary choruses and grooves as solid as they are improbable. Borrowing from all styles of music and avoiding any easy labelling, you don’t know what to dance to with RAMDAM FATAL, but you can dance!
LFant is an amplified drum solo in which the feedback from the drums sings with the metal. Improvisation gives rise to the songs of an elephant being eaten away from the inside by a swarm of ants.
Nourished by K. Cobain’s aikus and yoga sutras, the singing makes the organs vibrate and connects them to the storm of the limbs.
