Lyon-based label Prisme presents : Clos Dubis.
This evening is an opportunity to present three sound artists who took part in the Clos Dubi sound and visual project: Terre Synthe, Bruno Bernard and Trimus for three original performances between live machine and acoustic experience, from ambient noise to unstructured IDM.
The album Clos Dubis unites seven artists around the label’s fourth release. Ambient, electro-acoustic or even noise, this outing by the collective is an odyssey through curious and singular electronic movements. As many musical possibilities as manufacturing processes are presented here; tape recorder, analog synthesizer or granular delay, the artists have sought to torture the circuits of their machines to bring this Off road record to life.
In parallel with the audio release, director Martin Saint Hillier and curator Etienne Perez have been working on the eponymous film: a short film of over 27′ that explores the possibilities of VHS C capture, cathode ray tubes and home-made slides. The film will be available online alongside the disc on Friday, October 25, 2024.
