We Hate You Please Die + Wheobe
In partnership with Génération Spontanée
Back with their new album ‘Chamber Songs’, We Hate You Please Die unveil the pages of their diary of raging lyrics, influenced by punk and riot girls.
On stage, the sincerity of Chloé, Mathilde and Joseph stirs up emotion and frenzy, transmitting the energy of their liberating universe. Between tension and violence, the trio’s work is rooted in noise
as much as in introspection.
Preferring winding paths to boring straight lines, Wheobe sketch out the contours of a universe that’s very much their own. A pure sonic impressionist, the band’s second EP, ‘Collapse; Relapse’, draws on a palette of powerful, contrasting alternative rock with a multitude of influences ranging from jazz to noise. It’s an intense mix, just like their live show, which doesn’t hesitate to play with extremes to get across a message that’s raw, sincere and authentic.
